Our bride chose berry pink full blown roses, cream colored dahlias and hydrangeas, with accents of burgundy blossoms for her bouquet. Her bouquet was copied into sugar paste for her cake, and her color scheme carried out in the bridesmaids' dresses and flowers, to create one of the prettiest weddings I have ever seen!

Such a glorious time of year for a vineyard wedding! Our bride is wearing her cowboy boots, and her beautiful cake is rubbed with 2 shades of adobe pink for a rustic look. Topper features a large dahlia, roses and garlands of grape vines! A fun and informal wedding but still very beautiful!

Floral and Cake Designers love using Seeded Eucalyptus for its delicate, sinuous line and silver blue green color. It can be elegant and formal or wonderfully casual. Here it is in sugar paste using a Nicholas Lodge mold. I also learned to make the English Rose from his tutorial. Nicholas Lodge is a master pastry chef and botanist from England with a world class reputation and following. We study him constantly to improve our skills.

Sugar Flowers can be custom designed to match the bridal bouquet, or event color schemes. These delicate, hand crafted flowers are made with a sugar and gum paste which is edible but not intended for consumption, rather for decoration. Sugar flower making is a traditional UK art which is trending in both modern and traditional cake styles. We offer dramatic single flowers as toppers, bouquet toppers, garlands and cake separators in the flowers, colors and style of your choice.

The "repousee" technique is from the ballerina turned cake artist Maggie Austin. Her ethereal designs reflect her ballet background, she is known for amazing cakes with her distinct signature style. The sugar paste berries, blossoms and leaves are also from her Craftsy class "Sugar Berries, Leaves and Blossoms". I use E. Guittard "L'Etoile du Nord" chocolate to make the ganache and the molded berries, leaves and blossoms in chocolate.

Sonoma Celebrates coordinates print and web materials with decorations, flowers, food and beverages for fun and fantastic events! I am a small, home business using the commercial kitchen at the Monte Rio Community Center.
